AVID

AVID Elementary is a foundational component in closing the achievement gap by preparing all students for college and career readiness and success in a global society.  AVID, Advancement Via Individual Determination, teaches students important organization and study skills to prepare them for the expectations of secondary education and beyond. The 2014-2015 school year kicks off a multi-year implementation, with a strong focus in grades 4, 5, and 6.
