Edgerton Elementary celebrates reading!

Nearly 200 students and their families participated in a fun evening of reading, art, and activities on October 16 at Edgerton Elementary.

It was a night of learning with activities in 25 rooms which included word bingo, phonics puzzles, art projects, and a book walk. Emerald Ridge students from Educational Careers volunteered with a scavenger hunt.

An Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) display showcased work from preschool through sixth grades. PTA held a book fair. Read-aloud guests included Chief Assessment and Accountability Officer Glenn Malone, Emerald Ridge teacher Chris Tavern, and school counselor Dorothy Wilgus.
